Thrift Shopping Tour: Bang for Your Buck

thrift shopping, looking fly on a dime

My next thrift shopping tour is in less than two weeks and if you missed the last one, you definitely want to sign up for the upcoming tour ASAP.

Last month we checked out the thrift shops on East 23rd St. {Goodwill and Salvation Army} and this time we’re taking in to Queens, specifically the Goodwill Outlet.

I’ve blogged about the outlet before and it’s not like every other Goodwill store. At the outlets, clothing is priced by the pound. Yup, it’s just $1.69 for a pound of clothing. But of course with such great deals, the competition can be a little crazy. It’s not unusual to see a crowd of people surrounding a bin and you really have to dig to find a thrift store score.

But that’s why this tour is beneficial. Instead of going at it alone, I’ll be there to offer up my thrift shopping tips and style advice on how to wear the pieces you end up purchasing or solve any of your everyday fashion challenges {how to dress for your shape, ways to inject color in your wardrobe, etc.}.

I’m limiting tickets to five thrifters, so sign up before it’s too late. Tickets can be purchased here.

I visit the one here in Tampa/St. Pete, Fl and it can be a mad house! I have found some gems: Kate Spade and vintage Coach bags as well as Christian Dior and Michael Kors clothing.
