Earlier this month, Target, my beloved bullseye boutique debuted a new collection and it's kind of a big deal. I mean, who doesn't love Target?! But this line in particular was a really exciting venture because per usual, it's affordable, but more importantly, every garment in the collection goes up to a size 26 {versus just some items being plus}. Also, there's a heavy focus on denim, which is an item most women find difficult to shop for {check out Fitting Room Tips to Find the Best Jeans...after you're done reading this!}.
Of course it was my civic fashion duty to check out the Universal Thread line in person, try on pieces and report back the absolute pros and a few cons. Here's another What's In Store.

Family-dollar-fashion-haul-family-dollar-just-be-collection-family-dollar-fashion-cheap-chic-review I love doing the What's In Store posts and showing you guys what cheap chic retailers are offering for the season. It's not just displaying pictures, but reviewing the quality of the material, pricing and sharing a few style tips. This week it's all about Family Dollar. If you've been following my Snapchat adventures or Instagram pics, then you know I've been wearing their new Just Be...line over the past few weeks. And let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised.

looking-fly-on-a-dime-dressbar-review-dressbar-by-dressbarn Dressbarn. What comes to mind when you hear that name? For me it's stuffy pantsuits, oversized florals and pretty much nothing I would wear. Well, I can admit when I'm wrong.
Dressbarn recently launched DRESSBAR, a collection of curated dresses from top designers which you can shop online, in store and in NYC, there's a pop up shop {102 Fifth Ave.}.
I tried a few of the dresses out and here are the hits, misses and what you should check out.

strawberry-fitting-room-fast-fashion-houndstooth-crop-top-fitted-dress Last week I had a few minutes of down time so I did something I haven't done in about a year and a half. I went to Strawberry. If you don't know what Strawberry is or totally forgot they existed, Strawberry is an affordable retailer in the northeast that's comparable to Forever 21 and Wet Seal. The pieces are trendy and wallet friendly. And I used to always {and I do mean always!} shop there when I first moved to NYC.Fast forward a few years and the pieces are still trendy and the prices are affordable for the most part. Check out what I found, including the most adorable, ladylike skirt and how to know when to walk away from a cheap chic find.

sears-metaphor-collection-sears-review-whats-in-store-looking-fly-on-a-dime Last Saturday my afternoon consisted of brunch and a trip to Sears. Yes, Sears. I haven't been inside one of their stores in at least six months. But now that my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge is over, I'm back to seeing what major department stores have to offer and if they're worth the price.Well, there was good and bad. From the high price and low quality of the Kardashian Kollection to the Sears line I wish more people would pay attention to, see what's in store at Sears!
