When and why did you start thrift shopping? I started when I was a teenager. I loved fashion and wanted to be unique. My family couldn't afford to buy me clothes, so I would rummage through local thrift stores with friends.
What three words would you use to describe your style? Adventurous. Unique. Bold.

how to make clothes look expensiveI hate the word "cheap," but let's face it, some wallet-friendly clothes can look, well, cheap! Why do you thrift shop? I am a full-time college student at a local university, and I grew up as a casual thrifter but it probably wasn't until I started college that I realized I could not only save money by thrifting, but I could make some money, too.
What do you wear while thrift shopping? I like to wear flats that I can easily slip off to try on shoes. I do not like bringing a big purse because it gets in the way, so I will often shop with a small cross-body purse instead. If I am unsure if the store will have a dressing room, I wear slim-fitting pants and a shirt with a tank top.
