Kiss Nail Dress versus Sally Hansen Salon EffectsI love a fly design on my nails but I have little to no patience to wait for them to dry. I'm such a busy body that keeping my hands idle is a serious challenge. And if I give myself a mani at night, which I typically do, then I usually wake up in the morning with imprints from my sheets on my nails.
So while at the beauty supply store a few weeks ago, I was anxious to try Kiss Nail Dress stickers. Just like the Sally Hansen Salon Effects, they're stickers that give you a funky design like Minx, but there's no drying time and they last up to 10 days. I tried Salon Effects last year and I really liked them. Kiss was a few bucks cheaper than Sally Hansen so I wanted to see how they compared. I was looking forward to giving myself a $6 manicure that required no drying time.

I've seen the half moon manicure for a while now and I finally decided to give it a try. And I have to tell you, it was super easy, even for a clutz like myself. The only item I had to go out and purchase was the page reinforcers {$2} to create the half moon shape. You remember page reinforcers from your elementary school days, right? They kept your torn pages from falling out of your Trapper Keeper.What you'll need: base and top coat, page reinforcers, two shades of polish {I used Wet n Wild's Sparked and Sally Hansen's Racey Rouge}.

While wasting time online I came across an amazing tutorial on YouTube of a newspaper manicure {i can't remember the channel i saw it on}. The writer in me loved the idea of having words imprinted on my digits.I was blown away at how simple it was to create a unique look. I'm pretty clumsy but even I was able to pull this look off without any help. And the best part? I had all of the necessary items to create this look, I didn't have to buy a single thing.

{what you'll need: light colored polish, topcoat, rubbing alcohol, small bowl, strips of newspaper}

I'm a sucker for anything beauty related so when I noticed new nail polishes, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, I was all over them. I recoiled at the $8 price tag. 8 bucks isn't a lot {same cost as Essie} but it's a bit much for a Sally Hansen product. However, the polish claims to be an all-in-one manicure (base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, color and top coat). I bit the bullet and purchased the Right Said Red shade. The collection comes in 42 shades with cute names...
