By now we’ve pretty much established I’m a denim girl. From skinnies to my new found love of boot cut to making a pair of relaxed fit vintage denim work, I love jeans!
And I found a cheap chic pair {and brand!} that really works and I think you’ll love them too.

Yeah, well that’s what happened when I rocked this black and white ensemble. Maybe it’s the a-line skirt, the hypnotizing pattern of the shirt or the colorful accessories.

Whatever it is, this has become my go-to style that’s classy enough for Sunday service but stylish enough for brunch.

I know so many people who still believe the outdated style advice that you can’t wear white after Labor Day. But we know that’s not true, right? Right!

It’s never about what color you wear, it’s always about the material. White linen pants in the winter? No way! But white denim or a knit skirt? Yup. Here’s how I styled the white skirt I recently scored from Strawberry. I paired it with my cheap chic finds, including my thrifted Dior coat for a fun winter look.

It’s cold in New York. Let me add it’s cold and there’s snow on the ground. Though we dodged a blizzard this week, it’s still pretty frigid out. A few weeks ago I told you about the importance of a statement winter coat and it’s the only garment you need to buy this season.

Well, I’ll add winter accessories to the list as well. These are the add-ons that will keep you warm and chic! Oh, and since my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge is over, I finally went shopping and bought my first brand new item in a year!

As much as I love leggings, I tend to have the same dilemma every winter. Where are my tights? I mean, leggings are great when you want to pair them with an oversized shirt and some flats or boots, but what about tights on those cold days you want to wear a dress and heels?
So needless to say I was super excited when I heard about L’eggs Convert-a-Tight. With a simple slip of a flap of material, they go from tights to footless leggings in a matter of seconds.
Of course I had to pair them with a few of my favorite thrift store finds and my favorite coat for a warm and cozy winter look.
