How to Incorporate Spring Trends in Your Everyday LookWhat should be the appropriate ratio of classic pieces to trends?
That's what I asked Adam Glassman at last week's JCPenney and O, Magazine event. The creative director for O thought this was a great question {I did, too!} and dished on that and much more.
Just in time for spring, check out a few easy fashion tips anyone can incorporate into their everyday look.

About a week ago I dipped in to JCPenney at the Manhattan Mall. I was killing time in between meetings and didn't expect to find too much. But um, I was majorly surprised. I found a few pieces and couldn't resist trying them on. When I Instagrammed the houndstooth dress above, you guys all commented on how amazed you were at this being at JCP. It was affordable and super chic.
Besides having a really amazing sale going on, I had no trouble finding work appropriate wear, casual gear and even some cocktail attire.

how to wear printsDuro Olowu is known for his heavily printed garments and that's exactly what the U.K. based designer is bringing to JCPenney. The jcp line features the same tribal, checkered and chevron prints, but not the high end price tag associated with the designer's usual line. With clothes, accessories and home items ranging from $10 to $100, this really is an affordable designer collaboration.

The collection hits stores on Friday and it's right on time as prints are still going strong and quite a few pieces embrace the hot new color combo of black and white.
