The first month of 2017 is almost over and hopefully you're sticking to your resolutions, especially those fashion resolutions?
Remember when you vowed to wear more color, stop wearing the same items over and over or decided to finally define your personal style? Yeah, all those resolutions.
Well, I'm hosting a fun event this week that can solve some of your dilemmas. This is a hands-on, personal styling event that you need to attend if you're in the NYC-area. And it'll be fun!

Well, it's here! And it only made sense to start with a bang.I love Chrisette Michele's music and the singer is also a pro thrifter. She recently shared a video on her site, Rich Hipster, of her getting into a little vintage shopping while in Florida. She scored a ton of affordable pieces at an indie vintage shop and even shows how she styled them.Check out the short videos below for Chrisette Michele's thrift shop adventure and vintage styling advice

Ready, Set, Thrift! Shopping Event - What You Missed
This past Saturday was my big Ready, Set, Thrift! event at Housing Works Buy the Bag. With more than 60 thrifters on hand, we had a great afternoon of shopping, raffles, games, light bites and laughs. Clothes were just $20 per bag {reduced from $25} and everyone walked away with at least one bag {one shopper had 8!}.
If you missed the event, here's what went down.

Ready, Set, Thrift! with Looking Fly on a Dime
Tomorrow {Saturday} is my second installment of Ready, Set, Thrift! and I couldn't be more excited. The thrift shopping party is being hosted at Housing Works Buy the Bag in Brooklyn. You guys already know I'm a hardcore Buy the Bag fan and at $25 for a bag full of clothing, what's not to love?
For tomorrow's event, clothes will be just $20 per bag! I've managed to stuff close to 40 items in a single bag, so that's some serious bang for your limited buck.
