Thrifty Threads: How to Wear Over the Knee Boots in a Casual Way Recycling outfits is a must if you’re on a budget or simply looking to maximize your wardrobe. But just because you’re “recycling” doesn’t mean your look has to be boring. That’s why I prefer the term remixing or reworking.
For the last Thrifty Threads I rocked these suede over the knee boots and this week I’m showcasing the same boots but it a more casual style and with pieces I’ve previously worn before. Again, it’s about remixing what you’ve already got!

I’m a skinny jean lover, so I was a bit surprised when bootcut jeans started to trend. But, I’m here for them! They’re actually a nice departure from the skinnies. And last month I found a perfect pair.

Like most women, I kinda hate shopping for jeans. My dilemma is they’re too long and/or I have gaping at the waist. But whether you’re a size 2 or 20, it just seems difficult to find the one.

But these Denizen bootcut jeans from Target fit perfectly. No tailoring needed and less than $30!
