Rachel Bilson’s at it again. Last week she wore a romper from Express and she’s recently been spotted a few times in a jacket from Gap Kids! I guess the petite little lady likes shopping in the kiddie section. At only $32.50, Bilson has paired the military style jacket with skinny jeans and cuffed trousers.

Don’t you love how she sported a Gap jacket with the luxe Chloé Marcie bag, which retails for $1,465? That’s mixing high and low, at it’s best!

Celeb Style on a Dime

I love seeing celebrities in items under $100. Of course they can afford the best of the best, but even they know that sometimes the cutest pieces are the most affordable ones. Two of my favorite fashionable ladies were recently spotted in cheap chic finds that you can cop right now.

Rachel Bilson graced the red carpet in a two-tone romper. Lucky for you, it’s from Express and only $69.50. You can dress it up like Rachel did with tights and heels or it can worn for a casual affair with flats.

Queen B (aka Beyonce) paired her short shorts at Coachella with a $55 tank from Wildfox Couture. This cutesy tank is a great way to make an outfit relaxed and comfy.

“Designer” on a Dime – June Ambrose in Phillip Lim

At last week’s Zac Posen for Target party, I was in awe of June Ambrose’s red carpet look. The uber stylist and author of Effortless Style shined in a Phillip Lim sequined shirt dress. Double breasted construct, rolled sleeves and gathering at the waist: what’s not to love? Well, the $995 price tag is a bit painful.

She keeps the rest of her look clean with simple accessories like nude YSL heels and a classic, quilted Chanel bag (and of course, her oversized shades).

I searched high and low for a cheap chic alternative to the Phillip Lim shirt dress, but came up empty. However, I found a similar blazer that’s comparable with its sequins, side pockets and buttons. Since this blazer isn’t as long as June’s, pair it with a mini skirt or dress for added coverage and an equally glam look.

“Designer” on a Dime – Mena Suvari

Mena Suvari graced the red carpet at a recent LOFT event in a simple, yet chic look. She upped the ante of her Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet baby doll dress and jean jacket with Miu Miu cut out sandals and a Treesje cross body bag. The shoes and bag alone will set you back $750 and $365, respectively.
