Why do you thrift shop? I am a full-time college student at a local university, and I grew up as a casual thrifter but it probably wasn't until I started college that I realized I could not only save money by thrifting, but I could make some money, too.
What do you wear while thrift shopping? I like to wear flats that I can easily slip off to try on shoes. I do not like bringing a big purse because it gets in the way, so I will often shop with a small cross-body purse instead. If I am unsure if the store will have a dressing room, I wear slim-fitting pants and a shirt with a tank top.

Last weekend I made my way to Dots while at home in Jersey. It wasn't my intended destination but it was right next to the best store ever {Dollar Tree} so we stopped in for a second.I used to shop at Dots all the time but they don't have locations in NYC so I've been out of luck over the past 3 years. The retailer has 400+ locations and offers great cheap chic fashionable finds. As I stated, I haven't been to one of their locations in years, but it's clear they stepped their game up in the accessories department. I was almost tempted to break my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge!Check out what I found below. Nothing was over $30.
