Dressing in rainy weather can be tricky, but during the summer it's particularly stressful. Sometimes it’s a cool rain and you might have to break out a sweater. Other days it’s hot, humid and you break out in a sweat. And sometimes you get caught in a soaking, flash thunderstorm that your weather app didn't warn you about… Ok, so that last one might just be a “me” problem. Anyway, this week’s Cubicle Chic focuses on how to dress for a rainy, summer day.If you've ever struggled with what to wear when it's hot and raining, check out the outfit ideas below. From cute umbrellas to dainy rain boots, you'll have no problem getting dressed on a rainy day.

WE tv braxton family valuesIf you guys follow me on Instagram {user: LookingFlyonaDime} or like my Facebook fan page, then you may have seen some photos from earlier this month referencing my shoot with WE tv. Well, now I can give you the dish! I filmed two Cinematherapy segments for the network.

During the commercial breaks for Braxton Family Values, host Jackie Tranchida and I give you the dish on must have items for fall. The advertiser for this week's Cinematherapy is Burlington Coat Factory, so everything is super affordable. And like I mentioned, I didn't film just one segment, but two. During the 7pm show of the Braxtons, I'll show you a great piece from Burlington that can transition your wardrobe from summer to fall. And during the 8pm show's commercial break, you'll see another must have piece for the fall months.I know most people, self included, tune out or fast forward when commercials come on, but you'll want to stay tuned in between the Braxton episodes.I took a few picks during the shoot just to give you a peek at what you can see on Thursday's Cinematherapy episodes.

Fashion trends come and go but one thing is constant: no matter what the trend, you can find it at a thrift store. Some people still think of thrift stores as having crappy leftovers other people no longer see fit to wear. Sometimes that's true but other times, you find awesome, current threads. And because fashion is so cyclical, what was hot years ago is once again in style. While thrifting last week, I came across a few trends that I've seen on the runway. Instead of dropping major cash on an "it" item of the moment, you can save a ton by thrifting the trends.

Florals were seen in collections by Alexander Wang, Prabal Gurung, and countless others and I found a ton of them at the Salvation Army, from blazers to dresses to skirts. It was an absolute explosion of flower power.I scoped out a Diane von Furstenberg blouse for $7...

Have you ever had an outfit that you planned around an amazing pair of shoes? Well, that's what I did with my most recent thrifty threads look. The weather in NYC was a bit mild and I wanted to whip out my Betsey Johnson sequin pumps from Marshall's. I'm a lover of all things sequins, so these shoes are my babies. I paired them with a few other cheap chic finds for a perfect spring look.

This is a pretty plain body con dress, but the detailing at the waist is what made me thrift it from the Salvation Army.
