While I love a good dress, there's just something about denim. I practically live in jeans. Denim is just so...timeless. And appropriate for so many different occasions. But a few years ago I realized I was getting bored and that was mainly because I only wore skinny jeans. Um, I had to switch that up! Fast.Because jeans are so versatile {skinny, high waisted, mom jeans, boyfriend jeans, cut offs, distressed, etc.}, it's only a matter of finding the fits that work for you and then having fun styling them.5 Ways to Wear Jeans: cut off high waist jeans with a silk top and mom jeans with a crop top

Earlier this month, Target, my beloved bullseye boutique debuted a new collection and it's kind of a big deal. I mean, who doesn't love Target?! I previously posted about my love of Forever 21 jeans {they're still going strong after 3+ years without the dreaded crotch rip!}, but while shopping at TJ Maxx last week, I found a pair of jeans that are just as affordable and fit like a glove. Here's how the typical jean shopping scenario goes for me: find several pairs I love, they fit at the hips and thighs, but they're gaping at the waist!I'm on the petite side {5'2} but like most gals, I've got a little bit of hips, thighs and behind. And there's at least a 10 inch difference between my waist and hips, which makes finding jeans tough. But it turns out my luck changed with a pair of $16 skinnies by the brand Jalate.
