Shop Thrift and Vintage Online

I love the joy of thrifting. It’s not just the idea of adding a new piece to my closet but I actually like digging through bins and racks to discover a cheap, unique treasure. However, I understand not everyone shares that feeling. Some people just don’t have the patience or time for it. Luckily, a few thrift and vintage stores let you shop online. Yup, you can score secondhand clothing and accessories from the comfort of your living room.

I briefly mentioned online thrift shopping as an option if you don’t have any great stores in your area, but I decided to expand on it. Below are a few options to shopping thrift and vintage online.

ShopHousingWorks.com
Though Housing Works is based in New York City, their website let’s you shop from anywhere. If you’re specifically looking for higher end designers {Chloé, Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg}, this is the site to check out for chic coats, dresses and more. You can buy items or bid on them eBay style.

ShopGoodwill.com
Goodwill’s auction site allows you to search for more than 20 categories of items. In addition to clothing and accessories, they have electronics and art. This is a must visit if you’re in the market for antiques or collectibles.

And if you’re trying to find the perfect vintage piece to add to your closet, in addition to your favorite Etsy seller, other online options exist as well.

Ballyhoo Vintage:
I posted about this online-only shop a few months ago. Their clothing averages $50 and the site’s full of ladylike pieces from the 40s to 80s. And their accessories are absolutely sick!

Esther Woo Vintage:
I recently read about this awesome shop on  LoveBrownSugar. Vintage doesn’t always have to equal expensive and Esther Woo is proof of that. The awesome blazers, pleated skirts and handbags standout out and I didn’t see anything on the site over $38.

So even if you can’t or don’t want to visit your local thrift store,

Thank you so much for pulling all of this information together! This is so helpful. Even though I’m quite a frequent thrifter there are items that I’ve been searching for for years and this will help me track those must have one of a kind, must have pieces down even sooner!

Thanks for the info I’d found it very helpful. I was hoping you can do a segment
on back to school shopping. Some of your loyal followers are single parents and it would be great
if you could recommend some places for pre-teens and teens if possible. Thanks a bunch!
Keep doing what you’re doing. I see much success in your future:)

Thanks! For back to school I would just recommend the same places for everyone else: your favorite thrift store. They have tons of options for pre-teens and teens.
