Thrift Shopping Tours
I tend to get the same question from my readers, “Patrice, I want to go thrifting with you!” Well, it’s not really a question, but more of a request. I’ve put together head to toe outfits for less than $20 and I even gave up buying new clothes for two years in lieu of only thrift shopping for my fashion needs {check out my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge for a recap}.
Adventures in Thrifting is a tour of New York’s best thrift stores. You’ll be introduced to some of my favorite shops and we won’t just hunt for secondhand finds, but I’ll also offer my tips and tricks to get the best bargains.
If you want to get in to thrift and vintage shopping and live in {or will be visiting} the NYC-area, Adventures in Thrifting is a must. Instead of wasting time deciphering where the top notch retail outlets are, I’ll take you on a tour of the best secondhand shops the city has to offer. Group and one-on-one tours are available.
My thrifting skills have been mentioned in abcnews.com, USA Today and Nate Berkus even called me a “sorceress” at putting together designer inspired threads from secondhand shops. So yeah, being thrifty is my middle name.
Personal Shopping/Styling
Totally clueless about what to wear and need a little direction? Have a closet full of clothes but just don’t know how to put them together for a fresh look? Simply don’t have the time to scour endless clothing racks and store aisles for the perfect piece? Whatever your dilemma, I can easily solve them with my personal shopping and styling services.
Whether you’re a size 2 or 20, you’ll be looking fly in no time and you won’t have to go over budget. I’m available in person for those in New York City or can offer assistance virtually {email consults, Skype, etc}.
From my regular appearances on The Nate Berkus Show, the Today show and Pix 11′s Savvy Shopper segments, I’ve helped women of all shapes and sizes find a style that suits their body types and budget.
And of course, you can always Shop My Closet {my online collection of affordable clothes and accessories}
