Salvation Army Haul

Last Wednesday I made my final thrifting trip of 2010. It was only natural that I hit up the Salvation Army, as they have 50 percent off on Wednesday. I was looking for a dress or two and only wanted to spend $20…I ended up spending $46! Though I spent way more than intended, I found some awesome items I can’t wait to wear.

{i. love. this. dress. i don’t know who made it, as there’s no label but the ruffles are just my style. $7.50}

{i knew it was going to be a good thrifting experience when the first item i laid my eyes on was this pair of Sam Edelman pumps. $7.99}

Click more to see the other clothing and accessories I scored.

{what caught my eye about this chunky peach sweater was the interesting neckline. $3.50}

{a white blouse is a fashion staple but can be boring. this iridescent blouse would look great with dark jeans and stilettos. $3.50}

{this cropped wool and angora sweater is super soft and i love the square shoulders. $2.50}

{a shirt dress is simple and easy and that’s what this Club Monaco number is. $4.50}

{though i tend to lean more towards sky high stilettos, a pair of moderate heels is always necessary and Nine West is one of my fave brands. $2.50}

{there’s no label inside this awesome woven bag but it kind of reminds me of Cole Haan purses. $5.99}

{gold beaded clutches are my weakness. $4.99}

{i’m in love with my first pair of thrifted jewelry. $3.99}

My final thrifting haul for 2010 was definitely a win!

      Thanks. I can’t wait to wear the ruffled dress, it’s amazing! Someone actually put it back on the rack and I scooped it up!

    Great finds. Recently, while visiting home, I scored an Oscar De La Renta corduroy blazer for $7.99 at the Salvation Army. I was delighted!!!

      I’m not sure if all of them are 50% off on Wednesday, you’d have to check. I go to the one on 46th St. (between 10th and 11th).
