Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure

I’m a sucker for anything beauty related so when I noticed new nail polishes, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, I was all over them. I recoiled at the $8 price tag. 8 bucks isn’t a lot {same cost as Essie} but it’s a bit much for a Sally Hansen product. However, the polish claims to be an all-in-one manicure (base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, color and top coat). I bit the bullet and purchased the Right Said Red shade. The collection comes in 42 shades with cute names like Mudslide, Grass Slipper, Peachy Keen and Commander in Chic.

I opened the bottle and immediately noticed the slightly larger brush, which made application pretty easy and the polish was slightly thick without being heavy and goopey.

One of my main concerns was whether the polish would have a shiny finish and luckily it did. My nails are a vibrant red and the drying time was comparable to other polishes. I didn’t mind paying $8 for the added convenience of doing without a base and top coat.

I’ll report back in a few days to let you know how the color holds up and if it’s really formulated for “advanced wear,” like the website claims.

Have you tried Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure? What did you think?

i have commander in chic and i love it. it held up well. i still put on a topcoat because i wanted much more shine than the polish alone, but other than that, i thought it was a good polish.
