20 Dec Look for Less: Christian Louboutin Chiffon Bootie
Every gal needs multifunctional shoes that can be worn with just about anything. And that’s just what Christian Louboutin’s Canon bootie is. The chiffon peep toe can dress up skinny jeans and a tee or compliment a simple LBD. The shoe is certified gorgeous but the price tag is down right dreadful. $1,295, yikes! Hmm, we can do better than that.
If you’d rather spend that money on your mortgage, Chinese Laundry has a similar style for less than a tenth of the price.
Chinese Laundry Haylie pumps, $89.95
Both are similar in height, peep toe bootie design and pale chiffon material. Though Laundry’s chiffon doesn’t have the metallic finish to it and it’s more ruffled than crinkled.
Dare I say I like the Chinese Laundry version better? Maybe it’s the wallet friendly price that gives it more appealing. The cheap chic version also comes in black and bronze.
