Levi’s Spring 2011 Preview

Last week I attended the preview for Levi’s Spring 2011 collection. Housed in the Levi’s Workshop we weren’t just treated to a night of fashion but we rocked out with British band The Duke Spirit. The energy was high and the models mingled showcasing the new pieces.

A variety of rinses and styles were on display, from shorts to skirts to rompers. My favorites were the three looks in the bottom row {Boyfriend Chino in Cement Twill, $48. Pleated Drop Taper in Chambray, $79.50. Romper in Chambray, $79.50}. They’re versatile enough to go from day to night depending on your choice of accessories. Clearly, chambray is a trend we’ll continue to see through next spring.

Levi’s also introduced us to their new Water<Less jeans.

{Ex-Girlfriend Super Skinny in Mask, $69.50}

The eco-friendly jeans are manufactured using an average of 28 percent less water. According to Levi’s, the “average pair of jeans goes through 3-10 wash cycles-adding up to approximately 42 liters of water per unit.” The Water<Less collection is set to include over a dozen styles of jeans and a trucker jacket.

Levi’s spring collection hits stores in January and February 2011.
