Happy Scarf Review and Giveaway – CLOSED

We all know that accessories are the quickest way to update a look and a great winter accessory is the scarf. When the people at Happy Scarf contacted me about sending over some samples and doing a giveaway, I jumped at the opportunity. I love throwing a scarf on over or under a jacket or even in the office over a simple cardigan or blazer. It provides warmth and dresses up your existing wardrobe.

Two of the scarves I chose were the Zebra Crossing and Centered Polka Dot.

As soon as I took them out of the box I loved how soft and long they were. Measuring more than five feet long, that meant I could wrap them a variety of ways.

I like the infinity look so I just wrapped the polka dot scarf around my neck a few times.

The zebra print is such a fun design. I actually rocked it during one of my Savvy Shopper segments for WPIX-TV when I filmed at Filene’s Basement. The chain’s closing doors in January so there are tons of deals to be found. Check out my video here.

And of course I want you guys to be as warm and stylish. One lucky winner will receive the zebra print scarf {my favorite and a big seller on the website} in the color of their choice: yellow, red, black, pink, green or soft yellow.

Hi, Patrice! I’d choose the yellow zebra scarf! The easiest way for me to wear it would be to add it as a bright accessory with an all black ensemble and my zebra striped clutch purse (or even my polka dot clutch!). Black tights, black leather knee high boots, black turtle neck, cropped black leather jacket, gold chronograph watch, and this scarf!

I want the red scarf. I am a total earth tone chick, and I need a splash of color in my wardrobe. How i would wear it, you ask??? A turban! I live in Fl, so its not that cool here for a scarf. But on those lazy days.. yes I’m a turbanista. I can even jazz up the look my black military blazer, and matching red lip color. 🙂

I am a native New Yorker who loves her black in the winter.  With that being said I also like  pops of color so, my choice is the yellow scarf!  not only would it my black wool on black leather pop but, it will also make my signature fuchsia lipstick pop as well!

These scarves look great on you!  If I were lucky enough to win this giveaway, I would say that I would like the yellow scarf, because the minute I saw the photo, before I knew it was a giveaway, I thought “A yellow scarf with zebras on it?!  So cute!  Please tell me Patrice found this at the Housing Works Buy the Bag sale, alongside the cute yellow dress she found (and I’m hoping she’ll style for us soon).”  Seriously, those were my thoughts.  And the funny thing is, yellow is not a color I usually wear, but I could think of all sorts of ways to wear this scarf — to accent a dark eggplant-y colored dress that would be its color spectrum opposite, with a black dress, with a yellow sleeveless top in the summer…. This scarf lives up to its company’s name, because zebras all over a scarf would indeed make the wearer happy.
P.S. I’m from NYC, but I visited the National Zoo in Washington DC in June, and got to watch from just a few feet away, as three zebras nuzzled each other and ate dinner (it was 5pm, so I’m assuming that’s a dinner hour for zebras too).  It was amazing to be so close to them!

I like the yellow one! It’s fun and quirky and would definitely liven up winter’s gray sweaters. Maybe I’d even wear it with my new favorite teal sweater!
