Goodwill Opens in Paramus, NJ

I’m a Goodwill addict, this has been established already. So imagine my surprise when I learned they were opening a location not too far from my hometown in Jersey.

I made my way back to the Garden State to check out what this new location had to offer.

Of course, I wasn’t disappointed. The store was large, highly organized and had everything you could possibly want. Need a great dress? There were tons of Ann Taylor frocks. Want a pair of heels for $6? There were several racks. If you were in the market for random, fun items, they even had a pair of roller skates and a Snuggie.

{does the red skirt look familiar? it’s Zac Posen for Target!}

Click more to see the adorable skirts I purchased, as well as a great piece of art.

{several aisles had household items, including this tea set for $10}

{shoes, shoes, shoes}

{i seriously contemplated squeezing my 8.5 in this 6.5. it didn’t work}

{$12 and cute}

{jean paul gaultier for target. this was a little too tight so i passed on it}

{i did however purchase this rodarte for target skirt. they had tons of merch from target, many with the tags still on}

{cute baubles, many from LOFT}

{these bring back childhood memories}

{i snatched this gorgeous artwork up quickly and at $15, it was just my price}

    First: You’re so beautiful.
    Second: I love me some Goodwill. The next time I’m out in NYC, we should totally have a Goodwill Tweetup!

    I’m not a fan of the recession, but this economy has done wonders for the great merchandise at Goodwill. On the other hand, however, I’ve noticed that more and more people flock to Goodwill!

    Do you shop at Salvation Army, also? If so, is Goodwill your favorite? Does your Goodwill have awesome sales, too?

    I love your choices and I’m happy that Goodwill didn’t disappoint!

      Aww, thanks so much Chandra.
      Yes, tons of folks are flocking to Goodwill. There was a time when people were ashamed of shopping second-hand, but now, it’s kind of chic.
      I haven’t really gone to Salvation Army but I need to find a good one in the city. I guess I’m just so spoiled by Goodwill I don’t want to go elsewhere.
      And yes, I’m definitely open to a “Goodwill tweetup.” Just let me know when you’re in NYC

    Stopped in at Goodwill and picked up a leather pocketbook for $7.99, and a pair of Liz Claiborne sling back shoes for $9.99. My Mom introduced me to second hand stores growing up and we always had high quality clothing and my closet is full of designer originals on a shoestring. Best Goodwill I have experienced.
