Check Me Out in People StyleWatch

If you’re following my social media accounts {Instagram, Twitter and Facebook}, then you already know I’m in the September issue of People StyleWatch. *insert happy dance*

I’ve been obsessed with StyleWatch since they launched a few years ago, so offering my shopping tips was a dream come true. They asked me to share my top thrift tips and the timing couldn’t have been better.

1. My thrift shop ebook is coming out in a few weeks. 2. The issue hit stands this weekend, when it was National Thrift Shop Day.

I shared a few of my favorite tips, included the little known thrift store rewards cards and the best days to shop.

I’d definitely suggest picking up the September issue of People StyleWatch and not just because I’m in it. The mag is full of great style advice for women of all sizes and the Shop Smart section is all about fly, affordable fashion.

This was just the tip of the thrift shopping iceberg, as I’ll be sharing even more in my thrift shopping guide. It covers the A to Z of thrifting and will be released next month. I actually revealed the book cover to my newsletter subscribers and everyone can see the cover when I post it on the site tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Congratulations! Did you know that you (and one of your friends, I think?) looking at an item on a dresser is the photograph that Housing Works used to advertise its Fashion for Action event? I was so excited to see it! You’re everywhere, it’s fantastic! Also, in the aforementioned photo, you’re wearing a very chic outfit: black long-sleeved shirtdress, understated thin patent leather belt, and to top it off, a gold statement necklace. Hooray for Patrice!
