A few weeks ago I announced on Twitter and Facebook that I was asked to come back to The Nate Berkus Show. Well, the show airs this Friday, November 11.
I was beyond excited when the producers asked me to return. When I first appeared on the show in September {view a clip from my first appearance here}, I recreated designer looks with thrifted finds and gave three women a $25 fashion makeover. And this time around…I’m doing the same thing! And this time around…I stumped the audience again. They couldn’t tell which look was high end and which came from the local thrift store. One designer outfit retailed for close to $1,500 and I thrifted a nearly identical look for just 30 bucks!
But one thing was a little different this time around. My first appearance on the show, I was joined by a fashion expert. This time around, I was the sole fashion expert for two segments!
So once again, the show airs Friday, November 11 {check your local listings to see what time it airs in your area}. And the entire show is devoted to thrift shopping. Mr. Goodwill Hunting transforms a room for $300 and Nate even shows you how to decorate a holiday tabletop on a budget.
Of course I wore a head to toe thrifted look on the show. Does the blazer look familiar to you? It’s the Armani one I found at the Housing Works Buy the Bag sale for 83 cents! Full deets on my outfit {which was less than $20} next week.
{I couldn’t decide which earrings I liked best. Tune in to see what I chose.}
