A few weeks ago I attended a Family Dollar beauty event and to say that I was overwhelmed would be an understatement {check out a portion of the beauty goods I walked away with here}. But it was a good overwhelmed. Family Dollar had a ton of brands on hand to discuss their new and existing products and one of the suppliers was L.A. Colors. I naturally gravitated toward their booth because I had never heard of them! But I’m so glad I changed that. Besides having a full range of makeup {less than $5!}, I fell in love with one item in particular.

The L.A. Colors Eyeshadow Primer promises to keep your shadow in place and no creasing. After trying it for three weeks, I can honestly tell you this product works! It gets the beauty on a dime stamp of approval.

I’ll be honest with you, you never know if a “cheap” beauty product will really deliver, so when you find one that does, it’s the best think ever. My skin is pretty oily and one of the reasons why I don’t wear shadow is because it always creases after a few hours. I previously used a more expensive shadow primer and though it worked, I wasn’t feeling the $20 price tag.

As previously mentioned, the L.A. Colors eyeshadow primer is the perfect base to keep your shadow in place, so the little tube has become a staple in my bag. A small dab is all you need for all day wear.

You can find the primer at Family Dollar and check out L.A. Colors online for their full line of beauty products.

Have you ever tried any L.A. Colors products? What’s your go-to item to prevent your shadow from creasing? Do you have an affordable beauty line or product that works wonders?
