Beauty on a Dime: Maybelline Falsies

I’m obsessed with lashes. No, really. I think there’s nothing better than a set of thick, long eyelashes. So I finally picked up Maybelline’s Volum’ Express Falsies. At only $7.79, it fit right in my budget. The product is said to “instantly build 8x more volume without clumping” and “provide the look of 300% more lashes.” With such lofty claims, I had to test this out and see if it helped my sparse lashes.

{the handle was pretty thick and the flexible wand may make application a bit tricky if you don’t have a steady hand}

{see the difference?}

The mascara achieved exactly what I was looking for: full, thick, dark lashes without any clumping. Volum’ Express Falsies is a few bucks more than my trusty Kiss New York Protein Lash Treatment Curler, but it’s more than worth it.

    YESSS! love this stuff, and I’ve been able to get it for $6,watching ads and stuff. And i nicked several coupons from walgreens for $1 off. I think they don’t expire til next year.Even at $8 its worth it.

    I am going to have to try this. I am a die hard fan of Maybeline’s Lash Stiletto, but I might have to try this one out just to see how it compares to my favorite.

    I just bought my own falsies a couple of days ago. I think it’s really good, and I got it for around $7. Thanks for the review!

    Oh lady, but you made my night. lol I must try it. I usually stay away from anything that says volume because I am always trying to achieve length. But this one does not look like sacrificed anything. Stunning lashes!

      Oh, duh. I’m a little slow today 🙂
      But yes, I actually do like this a bit more than the Kiss NY. It made my lashes super thick and dark. But I still love the KNY (it’s just not as available at most drugstores like the Maybelline).
