Beacon’s Closet Shopping Trip

This weekend I trekked to Brooklyn for a little retail therapy at Beacon’s Closet. I’ve heard of the store for years, but this was my first time visiting the shop where you can buy, sell and trade your used clothing and accessories.

I was uber impressed on every level. The store was organized, clothes were affordable (most pieces were $11-$15) and the accessories were swoon-worthy.

Click more to see my amazing finds, including a ruffled LBD I purchased for $12.95.

{hehe, I resisted the urge to buy this tee}

{this La Rok jumpsuit ($16.95) was cute but ill-fitting in the crotch area}
{i loved this saucy Kensie dress ($11.95), but some of the sequin disc thingys were falling off}
{adorable Target dress ($10.95) but the tulip shape isn’t too flattering on my figure}

{say hello to the latest addition to my wardrobe ($12.95)}

{i found this in the men’s department ($11.95) and had to get it}

{full wall of new accessories, ranging from $9 t0 $11}

I was a bit confused on how they price their items. My shirt was only $1 less than my awesome dress and there was a Tracy Reese skirt that was only $2 more than a dress from Target. Weird.

Overall, I loved the store and walked away with two new pieces. And the highlight of the trip had to be bumping in to a Living Fly o a Dime reader!

Beacon’s Closet is definitely worth the visit and you can even shop online.

    I am rocking my fabulous heart-shaped “Love Me , Yes or No” necklace right now! I personally could have had a good time just with the accessories! But I am excited about the Marc Jacobs shorts I got for $12. And yes, their pricing system is way odd!
